Just tossing this out there for the few people who are stumbling across my page that may be interested in getting a commission from me.  Starting from now I will be closed for commissions for the foreseeable future to prepare for, and settle in with my new baby who is due next month!  I've got a few weeks before I'm due to prepare things but I do need this time to focus on my remaining time at my job as well as getting everything ready for the little one's arrival (especially if he decides he wants to appear early!). For obvious reasons I will definitely be closed until at least January but it could be longer as the baby and I try to settle

I'm posting this here rather than try to message you each individually because, well, I don't really have the drive at the moment. Some of you have already been given a heads up, but I lost a grandmother about two weeks ago (the funeral is still pending) and just lost their spouse today.  On top of this, I've got a massive shake-up going on at work which means that days I once thought I had off I no longer do and things are just really in flux.  I'm hoping things will cool down with in a week or so but I can't promise anything right now.  Other than that I do intend to still work on the commissions I currently have.  I will just be a bit slo

It has just reached my (and Khyle's) attention that our favoritest pub in the whole of the world is presently under-fire by the 'lovely' people at The Saul Zaentz Company, due to the fact they recently realised that there is this wonderful little pub in Southampton, UK called The Hobbit.  The Hobbit has been trading under this name, and serving their signature 'Hobbit cocktails' each named for different LotR characters, for longer than SZC has held the copyrights to the filming franchise.
